05 exhaust on 02?

Ok well, my question is, people modify 02-04 exhausts to fit their 05-06's. Is the same possible to make an '05 exhaust fit an '02 S? What would be required? Too difficult? Or a simple task for a QUALIFIED exhaust shop (Miami Muffler, best in Miami). Not your typical rinky dinky shop on a random corner somewhere.

All you need is to keep the hangers from your '02 and replace them on the '05 so that the mounts are in the proper angle.

'03 hanger on top, '06 still mounted.

I was referring to aftermarket exhausts but the answer is the same, it can be done. Thanks a lot! Now I finally know the difference between the hangers, it's only 1 of the hangers so it shouldn't be difficult.

Yes, it can be done....All you have to do is bend the hangers accordingly.

We make it work all the time - no problem at all. For reference, it is easier to cut the inner hangers, turn them, and weld them in the correct orientation.

Hope that helps!

Depending on the exhaust you're using, you don't even need to do that much. I test-fit my Scorpion exhaust without hooking up the inside hangers and determined they weren't needed. It worked like that for 22k rattle free miles
