those interested could call it in to white roof radio, since fbt is on there regularly during mtts. he will also have to return back to calif. so maybe he would be able to do some installs on the return? just a thought.

Sorry to keep you all waiting, just really busy with MTTS and everything that comes with it. Sleep has really been a premium the last few days.

The software is a flash, a modified version of the factory software. We can change just about any needed parameter needed. ( the code is cracked ! )

For those of you who missed us we will extend the offer through September for anyone mentioning MTTS when they request the software. After that the price will be between $500 and $600.

Lots of cars have been flashed already and nobody has had anything but extremely excited comments after the flash

We will be on all the rest of the legs of mtts so just come by the trailer or pm me and I will give you a cell phone # to call me and we can set you up with a flash on your car.

Fell free to pm me with any other questions you may have.

Thanks for the update! How many times will you update the file, or how long after the sale will you provide updates, if/when the parameters need adjusting? How specific can you get to a customer's needs?

I suppose I'm just curious how your product differs from other ECU flashes such as MTH. Thanks in advance for any information you can provide!

It's really hard to know how to compare vendors..

because most to date just don't tell you what is changed.

For what it's worth, the wide open throttle is the easiest to tune. What's really the pain is the part throttle response. I've heard nothing but good things from behind the scenes as this all came together (But I'm no expert on the details... yet )

We are still working out the details on the little things like updates and such. If we get the car on the dyno it can be VERY specific.

I would love to spill the beans and tell you all the details of what is done but then I would have to...well you know and then I would be fired ! LOL There was soooo much time spent cracking the software and figuring the things that needed to be changed it wouldnt be good math for us to tell the world what makes our software unique and work so well.

Off to MTTS, I will check email this evening.

C YA !

yeh fbt web site is kinda cool but not a lot of info on anything. ie: pulley percent, $ amounts for minis he is building or just the stats on what he did to then so you know what your looking at to buy. the mini's i understand are being sold be a dealer but what if someone wanted to reserve a car or simply find out if the could afford one. ooops sorry off topic... Any who i would be very interested in the fbt ecu, chip, flash what ever it is as long as it is something i dont have to hook up to a laptop. thats why i prefer ecu upgrades like garrett, shark injector.

And the Fireballed site still says the hyper ECU is "coming soon".

What about horsepower and torque numbers? Local dealers for support if this flash turns out to really "F" up the car?

Are you all going to pony up $300 based on the information provided? Sounds like they are signing up a bunch of $300 beta testers to me.

Ok...this is looking promising...Would love to try this out with the TC and dump the Apexi. I am sure this would need to be done on the dyno which is alright by me, but will this be available from a local dealer that has a dyno in the future?

Looking forward to more info....

Thanks!

I'll stick with my Unichip at this point even though it has not returned from Unichip as yet with the new mapping I requested.
Unichip is very good at returning calls and customer satisfaction.

So Brian. If I happened to wander into the shop (say maybe around the 26th of Sept) and mentioned this, I could get it set up for my car and installed for $300? And no-one would mention to my wife that it had been pre-planned?

Ingsoc, your signature says you have a custom ECU tune to 8k and it's strong. Why would you want to change if it works so well?

x2! I was saving up to buy a swaybar and have that installed along with springs but I have been waiting for some good ECU software for a long time and at this price, I simply cannot pass it up. So, how would a Florida resident go about having this flash done to the car?

Ok, I made a mistake... SORRY FOR THE MIS INFORMATION but, the tuner is breaking off on Sunday and WONT be at Limerock. Anyone who wants to meet up before that let me know.

Since each car is so different I cant really give a # without doing a dyno pull. If you come down and have the flash done on the dyno you will know exactly what the before and afters are. Sorry but that is the best I can guarantee without getting pummeled about the #'s.

"if" for whatever reason it f'd it up it would just be flashed back to stock, but I have never seen that happen.

Yep absolutly ! Just call me in advance so I can be sure our tuner is available to do it.

At this point I am not sure how we could do it, but we are working on some very cool stuff that would allow you to do remote flashing and changes but I dont know when it will be done.

If you can make it to one of the last legs of MTTS we would be happy to set it up for you , other than that I am really not sure how we could do it at this point.

well, if you remember correctly I have been doing testing with this and many cars for over a year.... if it's one thing you can always count on from Fireballed! Racing... it's that we test test test... and test again... before ever releasing anything.... sometimes it makes me sick how much testing we do.... no really like getting the flu from not sleeping cause we are not sleeping enough LOL

And exactly where is the shop? How do I get there from Hollywood, and how much notice would you need?
Now I just have to win $300 in the next couple of weeks to pay for it.
