can we drop this...the diff between each aftermarket intake is going to make a minimal overall difference...if you want to see gains, buy things that work with each other...if your going to buy a CAI, then also upgrade your whole exhaust...then go with pulley, injectors, tuning...

Just getting an intake is not going to do it..and the argument of which one is better than the other is just retarded... :/ Buy whichever one you like, but dont try to base it on "hp rating"

rant over..

The only intake that reaches anywhere near 8HP so far is the AGS.

Product ID: CAF-3
MyMini Cooper S ColdAir Filter Kit #2.
This is our latest development-a low-profile AirBox that has been dyno-proven to add 6-8hp over stock units. We built this balck anodized box to accomodate most front strut bars, a problem rubber-rimmed cold air units won't allow without cutting. Our AirBox pulls cool air in from the vent at the base of the windshield with a bulkhead panel opened to 56 sq. inches, replacing the factory unit altogether! It works. The kit comes with an ITG Foam Filter especially developed for this kit that will take up to 250hp. It bolts onto the stock inlet pipe. Complete with all hardware for an easy fitment.
Price: $189.00

Not a bad looking unit.
I'd like to see better pics. Especially installed.

I can be pretty reckless with a $1...... frankly, I'm surprised that this hasn't brought more "discussion."
