Sure they do. It's a cross between a sports bar and a Friday's. The food was fairly good.

HDI is an easier install and it's shiny

Yes its loud and so are those fart can exhausts you see on Hondas
Go HDI or Alta. Both proven to be reliable and an easy in/out install.

C'mon, you're not comparing the sound that the AGS makes to the crap exhausts of the sport compact world, are you?

You know what would be interesting though is adapting something similar to the AGS pre-throttle body and then having the HDI at the end because to me, the AGS look like a HAI but with a different pre-throttle body route.

Yes I am comparing the M7 AGS to the sport compact world on the basis of sound.

If i'm not mistaken the pre-throttle body peice that M7 is replacing is something that was not included in pre-05 cars. So in the case of your 06 you have the straighter tube.

Everybody that hears it seems to like it and the only sort of soundclip that I can find for it (i.e. - laguna seca clip), it sounds pretty nice.

Just to clarify, you're saying the '06 car already has the straighter tube?? So what am I really gaining then if I already have a HAI?

I think mean the post-TB tunnel. The pre-TB tunnel is the rubber hose that is replaced by the silicone hose in the Alta and HDI.

That's a bit harsh, don't you think? The AGS wasn't designed specifically to make an annoying buzz like "tuner" mufflers, and in truth many think it sounds quite good.

The AGS replaces the tube between the throttle body and the supercharger, which is a convoluted mess if you've ever seen one, and from what I understand the part hasn't changed from the '05 to the '06 model.

Sushi can be cooked or raw, sashimi is only raw (I think). And good sushi is a very , very good thing. I hate the taste of fishy fish, so I usually go with some sort of a roll (no eel for me, eh), but I can feast on that stuff. BTW, quality ahi has zero fish taste, amazing but true. My hat is off to a good sushi chef!

I'm building my own intake system and I'd love to visit a dyno (2x) to demonstrate what one gets for approximately $30 installed (plus $39 if I go for the Madness bulkhead - everything that I do is removable/returnable to stock).

I'm not expecting much except a massive sucking sound... a couple of HP in a nice looking installation would be a nice surprise.

8+hp? i'll believe that when i see the dyno sheet.

The only intake that reaches anywhere near 8HP so far is the AGS.

I will bet $1 that the HDI makes 4-5 more hp than the Alta so I think the HDI is in the 8 -10 hp gain from stock category

Only $1 dollar? I guess we will have to see more data on the HDI. But I do not see it making that much more than the alta.
