Holy crap. I thought I'm young (i.e. - 21) for buying my own car. I'm impressed with what you've accomplished. $5-$700 per month for financing payments. $7-800 per month for mods. $100 per month for insurance. That's quite a large chunk of change. I can't even convince myself to buy new wheels.

I'd say be happy with the Webb HDI. Initial reactions to it are very good, dyno and subjective. As soon as WMS comes out with their exhaust, and the intake tube, I'll be ordering it all together. The madness doesn't get a lot of promotion around here and I'm sure it's for good reason. If the madness is advertising 9hp, take a guess why.

By the way, I love sushi.

Doubt it.
Never seen any intake get 9 hp reliably on a car much less a bone stock one.

All I can say(have to be diplomatic) is you will be very happy with the performance of our intake.

Financing is about $330 and change, its a used S.

7-800 is like the most ive spent in a month, i seem to average about $300 a month on just mods. insurance is about $150.

I wish i could afford wheels, im still on the cheap mods, i still need to pick up a SC pulley, a coil, plugs and a header, then im done until i do a head a cam and the Venom kit.

anyways now that we have gone WAYYYY ot, lol

Not seen that so I can't attest to it.
Please do post the data.
Myself and others would be glad to see that or if I've missed it please do post a link.

Thanks

All intakes on the market are going to gain you at least 4-5 hp. It seems like the top contenders are Alta, Webb, and M7. These have been known to give upwards of 10 hp. From there, the decision is yours. The M7 AGS is expensive and very hard to install but I hear it sounds amazing. The Alta and Webb are easy to install. The Webb might have an edge on the Alta as it's enclosed on the top to keep the hot air out of the intake charge. Both of these intakes cost about the same.

As for me, I'll be ordering the Webb HDI later this year once Randy has a chance get everything smoothed out and the silicone hose is available.

Anybody in the Houston/Austin/San Antonio with the AGS? All this talk about the sounds peaking my interest. Also, anybody got a pic of the CF heatshield?

or chef - preparer of food. A lot of skill goes into sushi. So very easy to get bad sushi. You'll probably realize it before you're out the door.

Oh, to be young again. I'm 47 and it's a little easier to plow the money into the MCS. Enjoy it while you can though because I don't really have more, I just pass a whole heck of a lot though the checkbook in a month. House, wife, kids, colleges, 2 cars and a truck, in-laws, 3 cell phones, and I could go on and on. So if you see me blowing down the road it's probably an attitude adjustment or I'm hiding from someone.

Also, I just installed the Alta Sunday with hose. I love that sucking(air) sound. While most of it was an easy install, that new silicone hose was a pain. The hose took a couple attempts to get all lined up and it ends up twisted just a little. I think they should include a slightly angled hose nipple to replace the existing straight one for the crankcase breather line (if I remember what it was). I'm still waiting on my first speeding ticket and the desire for more speed is building.

Not-so-Red, you coming to the Lizard this Sunday?

I've had mine for 3 years. Good power inccrease over stock, definitely noticeable. Do the Webb panel mod (see Webb website for how-to) along with Madness intake for max power gain.
