Drivetrain water/methanol instead of injectors
water/methanol instead of injectors
Ok, so I have an '05 with a 19% pulley. I just did the pulley about 2 months ago, and now it's starting to get hot. Its only going to get hotter here so instead of the injectors I was thinking water/methanol. They are both in the same price range. My ? is will the colder denser air for the water/methonal still be too much for the stock injectors? Or will the methanol take care of the injectors short falls in the higher rpms? I like the idea but i don't know many people that are running it on their minis.
Mesa AZ with a 19%...wow.
You will make more power with a 15 or 16% pulley... all that extra rpm in your SC will make more heat... lowering your efficiency and thus, power.
Re. methanol injection... might be cool to do on any size pulley..I'm anxious to hear what's available.

MSFitoy has it done to his car. He would be the best choice for any questions your may have. If you want to spend the money and drill into the intake tubing, then it is a good way to go. Not only will it help cool, but it will add more octane to the car for less chances of detonation.
