Vacuum Gauge?

Do I need a Vacuum and Boost Gauge or just a Vacuum ONLY gauge?

I assume you have a MCS? If so, then most boost gauges has half vacuum and the other half boost. But all in all, any gauge that states it is a boost gauge will work. A vacuum gauge would be of no use.

If your looking for a boost gauge to add to the car, there are many options. Autometer seems to be the choice for many. I personally have the DEFI Meter BF gauge line. The amber lighting matches the interior nicely and they are awesome to look at!

hey, was thinking of putting in a boost guage as well. Hard to do? I know it's easy to tee off the line from the intake manifold, but how do i put it in through the firewall etc and mount it to a boost guage in my cabin?

The hardest part I had with the install was teeing off the line for the boost gauge. It is a really tight spot and you will need to remove the intercooler to help you out. I have small hands and it was still hard to do. That took most of my time to install the darn thing. I have an electric boost gauge and as for hook up it makes for a clean install. I mounted the sensor near the IC and ran the wire into the rubber that is in the firewall leading into the driver foot area. I then tapped into the fuse box with a fuse tap and only had to tap into one wire of the car. that was for the lights. This allows me to turn the lights on and have the control unit adjust the ligting on the boost gauge.

Look at my boost gauge thread I made.

You'll find some useful infos as well as part numbers and how-to.

The total cost is under 70$us, and it fits very well!
