15% pulley and Alta intake

You guys werent kidding, this set up is crazy

Drive pavement and traction control on, tires just spin from a stop, and it pulls like an SOB above 4 grand. Next is GIAC then Subzeros and new tires

Well, my age played a factor too. I couldnt figure out why i was looking at all sedans. Im 21, why do i need something with four doors, i have no family to hall around...or a girlfriend. So, if its just mee, why do i need all that space, go for fun.

My goodness, I think we're soulmates. Most of my friends can't see my logic and for some reason put inordinate importance on the comfort of rear seat passengers and the ability to haul crap around. You get one point.

Well, i figure if i need to haul more than two people around comfortably I make one of them drive, or i drive their stuff. Then again, went to lunch the other day and the dirrectors sat in the back The things people are willing to do to ride in my "cute car" Im ok with it being cute, its fast.

Hey I totally understand S_Curv... After layijng to rest my 88 CRX Si over the next 5 years I went through a 530i, XK8, CLK430, and my mini. Mini is hands down the most fun to drive and the only thing that has come close in "fun-Factor" to my old CRX :-)

That was another car i thought about, but to get it where i wanted was to much time and money. I just do not have the time to swap in vetc and all the goodies.

Hey better yet remove the rear seats and youll deff. have an excuse not to haul people around. I love it how people ask me to drive and I just say, wait I only have two seats. I also have to agree, coming from a supra, subaru and now the mini, the mini is the best car I have owned! Fun to drive, handles great, and quick for what it has to offer. I can not be more happy with this car.

I feel you too. I'm also 21 and have seriously considered removing the rear seats. I just have no reason for them and there's no way I'm going to stuff two of my friends in the MINI with me anyway ; )

Actually to be honest with you, the back seats are not bad at all. A lot of my friends said it was con\mfortable in the back. But they can not say that now!

Forget Something?

Maybe you guys have forgotten the real reason to have a rear seat.
I am sure at 21 you can find at least 1 more use for a back seat...

Maybe you haven't seen that MINI commercial. Pop on over to motoringfile.com and watch them.

Maybe we should rename this thread the 21 year old guys thread. I am 21 and on my second MINI. First was a 2004 MC CVT. My rear seat came out a few weeks back for some Winter AutoX and its been great. But now I need to carry 3 people (including me) so they are going back in. Not to bad once you do it once you know how to do it.

Congrats on the CAI and pulley. Randy Webb (my MINI drug dealer) got me hooked with a pulley, plugs n wire in July 05 and since then I can't have enough. See my sig and blog for more....

Hey S Curvz. I'm having the same issues as you with mine and lovin it. My mpg is down 1.5. Waylen did a great job on our cars. Remember, post some info on the GIAC.
