Drivetrain John Cooper Works Warranted Upgrade
i know that i have read in other threads about the John Cooper Works boost to 200 hp and i was wondering if anoyne has any other info on it. i am really interested as i am sure many others are too!

Yep the only info is.... bring your checkbook cause it will be expensive! EST 5-7k US.... There are better upgrades for that money!

In addition to the expense, MINI has also had several delays in bringing the JCW kit to the U.S.
Consider this, with MINI Madness Intake ($240), Magnaflow Exhaust ($600), Pulley ($200), and Header ($1300), MINI Motorsport is making 200 hp at the crank. That's exactly what the claimed gain is from the JCW kit and it's ~$2400.
So, you can either hold you breathe to spend $5000 for the JCW OR you can build a MINI with exactly the same power output for about $2400 right now.
