Milltek vs Invidia

Let me start out by saying that I have researched this for a couple months now. I have it narrowed down to 2. Milltek ($680 shipped) and Invidia ($605 shipped). The seller of the Invidia thinks the hp gain is only 3-5. I think the Milltek is around 8. Which one would you choose and why? I want to order one tonight. Thanks.

Edited to add current mods: Alta CAI, Alta 15% pulley

hate to do this but don't forget the Scorpion, $550 from http://www.bavauto.com/shop.asp

I was looking at the Milltek as well, considering this one now. Looking most for the right looks & sound...

New ! From England, Scorpion stainless steel performance exhaust systems have been sought after by tuners the world over. Now these free-flow, stainless steel systems are available in the U.S. from Bavarian Autosport! They have been engineered to deliver a horsepower boost yet not be quite as loud as other free-flow systems. And they're built to last using the best 304 stainless steel. - TUV certified.

Ok. I thought there'd be at least one person that would choose the Invidia but I guess not. That's cool. I only liked it for the titanium blue tips anyways. Is there anywhere that has it for less than $680 shipped? Thanks.

I would go with the Milltek, you can't go wrong. The build quality is top notch, it looks great, and the power gains are the best for an exhaust system that you can "live with" (no highway drone). I have a few video clips if you are interested (click on My MCS; video section) in listening to it more prior to deciding. At the time, I only had a Rogue intake and Milltek catback on...

Did you try to see Supersprint? It is pricey, but they are running a special right now.

see here is the problem, how can you make a rational desicion without trying them all? Not pointing fingers at nobody. Your preference would not work for me, or mine wouldn't for another person, kinda crazy?

exactly But in the name of friendship and willingness to help, people are imposing their choices. BTW, you and I sidetracked this thread way too much .

I drove a MCS with Milltek, nice, another one with Magnaflow, perfect. But is was loud as hell, and felt livelier than the Milltek. Does it make it better over Milltek, absolutely not. Again, preference...

Anyways, back to topic

I think I'm going to go with the Milltek. Thanks to all that responded. The Milltek is only going to be about $45 more than the Invidia shipped.

I have an Invidia and have recieved compliments by mini tuners. It is a very solid exhaust with beautifull tig welded joints and mandrel bent tubing. The flanges are all cnc and makes it easy for installation. It sounds really great, I am happy with it. I never heard a miltek nor installed one so I can't help you there.
