I just got a new /used Invidia exhaust. Does anyone know if gaskets are needed at the end of the split y pipe flanges? If so where can I get two of these. I got my system used and don't see these with my new set up.

I like the Invidia too, but I can't seem to find it for the '06 model year. Apparently the ones around now are designed off the '03 model year and won't hang the same on the later models... If anyone knows if and where I can find one for the '06 let me know - Thanks

I did the install of my Invidia, the hangers are set for the 04 and prior model years. 05 and newer cars will either require modification of the inner hanger or the zip-tie mod.
(See link, post # 7: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...exhaust+hanger )

My car is an 02, so I didn't have to mod anything, but getting the old exhaust off the hangers can be a chore. The outside isn't a prob, they unbolt from the car and come down with the muffler. It's the inner hangers that are welded to the frame and with the OEM "bulbous head exhaust bracket" stuck through the hanger rubber.......... well lets just say the design works. It doesn't come out easy. Some have cut the tip off the hanger, others have bought new rubbers and still those like me have managed to work the tip out.

BTW, to see the hanger "head" check out the same link, same picture and look at the hanger on the right side of the pic.

I have installed and Invidia, did it myself in the garage = 3hrs deal, NO surprises; a real bolt on (MCS 03). It looks great, it sounds awesome, improved throtle response... Right after, I also installed a cold air intake (not Alta) from ebay $50 complete & delivered, everything improved even more. Have fun!!!!!!!!!!

Hey marcdmbfan (or anybody),

Where did you find the Milltek for $680 shipped? The cheapest price I've found is $695 + shipping.

Atrick I learned.Put some soap or lube on end, grip with large channel kocks. One jaw on tip of hanger, one tip on back of rubber, usually pops off.

Ah... I did the old WD/white lube and a small straight blade screwdriver to guide the rubber over the tip, while pushing with the thumb. Your method does sound easier
