Randy's (Maxmini) Mini is very very loud, indeed! When I first heard it, I thought a C-17 was taking off! The car is so loud that the people at Forest Lawn Cemetary won't let him do drive-by's anymore. It's been rumored that Max recently got a job at one of the local retirement homes in L.A. Apparently he drives up to each apartment complex and "floors" the Mini (in Neutral, of course) to announce that breakfast is being served...

 

The whine sounds great but getting too noisy is not good too. Is this a combination of intake mod and exhaust? The Japanese tried the jet noise with motorcycles quite a few years ago but did not make it to production. I like the whine of the supercharger.

 

There's two distinct sounds on Maxmini's car one is the SC an the other
is his incredibly loud Borla race exhaust with a header......

The coolest thing about the AGS is that when you close the windows, there's almost no sound inside the car........
