good news Alta! obviously too late to ask if there were any plans on a two piece header with interchangeable CAT/race pipe. i think it would've been the best way to go in this market. The Pilo/Megan header was looking promising but has since fallen flat.

 

a 3 piece or 2 piece header is a good idea, but were were really trying to hit a certain reatil price. We were shooting for something in the middle compared to the rest. The added flanges, gaskets, and welding would add to the cost and price us toward the higher priced headers. But you never know, things change over time!

 

Has anyone installed the Alta header? How is it working out? I have to buy a header tomorrow as mine broke (and no one is open today). Anyone have a link to instructions on changing it how, how hard, and how long does it take. I tried searching, can't find anything, and Randy Webb's instructions are not working, I get:
