Underdrive alternator pulley...

Has anybody even seen this thing? Just click on one of the vendors ads and did some searching and came across this:

For $60 i'm willing to give it a try. I'll pick one up when i get my next paycheck and will give you guys my thoughts and results.

PS: i will measure voltage before and after, includung with the radio and lights on. We'll see how it goes. I found this on edge motorworks website.

Its from a company thats listed on their site. I don't know if i'm allowed to say who they are but its not to hard to figure out. It IS mini specific.

I've got two in stock if you want to do the install and get some numbers back to me for use on OutMotoring.com I will get one to you for free. They are made by a company who makes pulleys and some other stuff for the MINI...

I've been on the fence about adding it until I know that it actually does something useful.

Isn't voltage is maintained by a regulator?

It would seem more important how much less it weighs than stock to reduce rotating mass?
