Madness Intake Manifold, what kind of gains?

Does anybody have any idea what kind of numbers I would see out of adding the Madness manifold and a larger throttle body to my MCS with the mods already listed below?

joker has a point there.

its not gona do any good by itself. its still just gonna run into another bottle neck somewhere else in the system. better to upgrade fully components at once...

at once? are you going to give me the cash for that? I plan on doing everything I can over time, but I'm 20, in college, and manage a subway, so I do what I can when I can.

Adding just the intake manifold will probly hurt performance as there will be a slight lip in the transition for the manifold to the head causing a major disruption in the airflow. Just so you know...

I was just considering buying it, as I dont have the money to buy any of the other parts, so my point was really moot...

So what power gains can I expect having it sit on my desk until I can afford the head?

i dont seem to have a problem saving up for my cars.... i'm almost 19 now and in college.

i have the mini, my second one, and i have a Mustang thats getting restored with my own money on my own time.

wait, save 4 or 5 grand, then drop it all at once.

college cant be used as an excuse for everything

Coming from a money standpoint and not a performance one:

Would it pay to do some of these upgrades @ the same time? Reason being that you will be removing some of the same parts to add some items. Like if you do a head you will remove injectors, the intake manafold and of course the head. Maybe best to wait and do a big (expensive) upgrade?

I totally hear you on spending small amounts of cash at a time. I'm 21 and in college.

********MDsbrain are u askin' or statin'???***********

totally 'cost effective' if u do these swaps urself... ..if u dont, its still cost effective since u will be payin' sumone to replace these all at once!!

its really the only route ill be takin' when doin' mods on my motor once i start ( from internals out) in order to see real kick *** gains.......

you infants

heh heh heeee, I am 28, and yet wise enough to avoid the stupid mistakes you do in your real life live-and-learn process....
now back to the subject...

before TB mod, there is a number of things in line, so in other words, feel free to buy the parts and put on your desk, but do your mods correct. I am opposed to dumping the money all at once:
1. Like I started this post, I am wise enough to have some money on the side, it does not come easy, but sure does go quick.
2. As I mod my car, I would like to take one step at a time, and see the pros&cons. Does not have to be months, but seeing what a mod brings to your car is important. And it gives you time to evaluate the performance gains vs. sacrifises as well as comparing with other cars.
3. If anything goes wrong with the mod, at y'alls scenario, it is harder to find the source of failure.
4. Keeps you motivated, and you learn, will not make the same choices or mistakes next time.

My 0.02

Now, red-so-not-what-so-ever-cooper is going to slam the posts, lets watch and see
