How do the Moss ones install? The stock cown grills snap in. My Ocairi scoops are held in with screws and nuts and are a pain.

They snap right in. I would rather have nuts and bolts, though, since anybody can just pinch them if they wanted to.

5 min to put both in tops...... What you need to do, is to thread the winged nut up the shaft a little bit. Then slid that side in. now all you do is twish the w/nut. No need to fondle with you nut's under your bonnet

Doesn't Webb have one of these on his car? He could most likely lend some insight. I had heard (again rumor - no facts) that these suckers were prone to blow off ?

In order to work, I would think they need to be a decent size because that area of the bonnet shouldn't get that strong of wind. I have not facts but it makes sense that air going over the nose would be pushed upwards creating perhaps a dead zone of air at the base of the windshield. Perhaps not?
I had looked at the orcini's - didn't know about these and felt that the opening was too small to really contribute.

These are nice. The orcinis are very nice as well - just figured they were for looks.

Good point.. I was having trouble with mine until I realized they will stiil go in with the nut/bolt threaded in slightly.. it was a lot easier and faster this way.
I don't think they help with any added air, but they sure look good.

Your right Brain, But they are the best looking cowl scoops in my opinion. I'm glad i have skinny boney fingers.I think they go good with my M7 front scoop.

Love My Moss Scoops, Took Some Adjustment To Install. Have Tested To 135+ And They Don't Blow Off. I Believe Benfer Is The Only One That Has An Actual "scoop" From The Cowl To The Air Filter. It Connects To Thier Cai System. Very $$$$. If Nothing Else They Add Looks And Bling.
