pipe size on JCW exhaust?

I am toying with removing my center resonator and if it would work, Supersprint has a connecting pipe - if the SS is the same diameter as (or close to) the JCW, I'd give it a try. The SS is 63.5 mm vs the stock 57mm... any clue what size the JCW pipes are?

I am trying to see if this would be a direct swap?

Never happy, always making tweaks

Just go to your fav muffler shop and have them patch one in. $65 out the door for mine. Nice rumble now, farts sometimes when off the gas. Cheapest mod so far.

Hey Vince,

Did you get your resonator removed? How's it sound? Does it drone at highway speeds?

The pipe is in

Just came home, the muffler shop did it late tonight for me. I like it. Louder than stock JCW, but no droning sound. I think it burbles more than before or maybe the burbling is just louder???

Before all you heard was the JCW intake, now you hear the exhaust and intake fighting for your attention.

It doesn't sound boy racer, just a louder version of the JCW. Two thumbs up!

I had them make a new pipe so if I was unhappy, I could swap the resonator back in... now I see it collecting dust The replacement pipe was OK, no work of art, but for the money now that I know I like it, I can always have a better one made.
