here's the update...

just got my mcs back w/ the magnaflow exhaust installed....
now i have both the air-intake & exhaust....

1st reactions....

-var-room....what a sound!!!!!!
incredible bassy, low end, throaty sound....& the deep gurgle just is the perfect finish.
-i was worried a bit bout the "loudness" factor, but it's well within reasonable limits. radio/conversations are ....manageable and wide open...it sings.
-pickup/hp/speed increase was less noticable compared to the addition of the air-intake imho..... could be me but it "sounded" faster...didn't neccessarily "feel" all that much faster.
i'll give it a few days to see how the ecu chip upgradedes ...report again.
-i took it on a local p'way, striaght out of the garage that installed it and wound it up in all the gears....it was a trip !!!!
-most definately worth the investment of dollars....
approx $1000 for these two "bolt-on mods"...& my mcs feels like a completely different car. it runs smoother, feels faster....and seems to be more ..robust/solid.
the increase of hp most definately....feels ...present.

hold on a second....
can y'all hear that....?????
i can hear the words.... "rear sway bar".... calling me.....
yes i hear you....i'm walking towards the ...order menu
randy are you there....

rofl

Peace,
D

btw....just mho
i'm doing these mods....1 @ a time....to truly see each individual...gain/effect.

Excellent man. That is great. Like I have said in previous threads, the 3 major mods to do are the intake, exhaust, and rear sway. I am so jealous. I should be getting mine sometime in March and those 3 will be the ones I will do. MagnaFlow, Madness, and sway.

D - You beat me to the Magnaflow upgrade. give it a day of driving and I bet you'll feel the difference.

And yes, after seeing Randy's shots of the sway bars, I'm sure you'll beat me to those also, but one thing at a time.

You lucky dog.

Sounds like the hot tip...but I have one concern: Does the exhaust noise drone or sound like you're inside a drum when cruising down the freeway at 65 mph+? I've had several 356 Porsches on which I put "sport exhaust" in recent years and I found the noise got really old on a trip. Given that I share my '03 MCS with my wife it is a serious concern! Please advise. Thanks, Rick
