We'll I always said I would buy a $40 K MCS...
Now it seems that's this is truly a realistic/obtainable goal...
Well here we go....
Please add pieces as you wish...
My MCS...was $24,300 plus 8.5%tax=$26,365.50
Therefore I need only add $14k to get my $40K MCS
Here's my list and ...I think I'm pretty spot on as to the addition to get to $40 K

1.air intake...250
2.exhaust system...600
3.new rims & tires...2000
4.upgrade stereo & speakers...3000
5.new brake system...2500
6.driving lights...400
7.tint windows...150
8.rear sway bar...200
9.ignition wires...200
10.springs/coilovers...1500
11.interior chrome trim stuff..etc...500
12.aerokit & painting costs...2000

Now here's the real question is it truly a $40K MCS or an old man's pipe dream ?

Comments y'all....

who's on 1st... third base...I don't know

Peace,
D

Great for you D.

Because I started with the Aero Kit and Rally Lights I won't have to spend as much to get to the same place your going.

No he didn't. The JCW Cooper S kit is not coming here. I have heard that through at two very reliable sources.

New brakes because the stock ones are woefully inadequate for track days or even very hard street driving.

I've talked with D on this, and it sounds like he's going full bore. I'm going to start with the pads and fluid, then move to slotted rotors, then go to monster brakes. That will allow me to evaluate different set-ups for different folks' needs.

I know the evalutation process takes time, and I also know that most of you are itching for it right now, but I really feel like doing the install and finding any issues before it goes to market is the right way to do it.

Hope that helps.

Randy

40K....sorry, at this price I'm into a 330, laugh! I'm sure the RS if it is a reality will be nowhere this price...the price you pay for alacart or a middleman to customize it is pretty steep...I'd bet the RS would be 32K or less and be more synergetic as a whole instead of add ons....

Hey man. It is all about the pipe dreams that keep you going in life. If you have the money and can afford it, then go fo it. I am behind you 100%. The toys are the only thing we got guys! Altho there are upgrades that can be done to the wife, you usually spend more time in the car. See what I mean? Spend the money...

Drop the stereo and the Aero crap and add the LSD and pulley and you might have something you'd enjoy for $40k.

BTW, the answer is yes!!

Please list wife upgrades and their cost.

Also, include Randy's current inventory of these items.

TIA
