EML/SES light after TB install

I have searched around and found numerous threads but just looking for a 2nd opinion.
I installed a mini mania TB this morning and followed their instruction to a T. The install went smooth and took 40 minutes. From the very 1st time I turned her over SES and EML come on. Funny thing is that the EML light only comes on when I tap the accelerator pedal lightly. It does not come on upon cranking up the motor and does not come on no matter how long it idles, only when you tap the accelerator it comes on.

I do not have a code reader (next option pending replies). I have performed the ECU reboot mentioned in threads. I have had the TB off twice and double checked my install with no success. I have disconnected my Unichip also. Any suggestions.

05 Cooper S, Unichip, 15%, Alta CAI , Miltek exhaust, IK22, Screaming Demon.

A couple things to check.

The Vaccum hose that connects to the throttle body may be disconnected, as well as the electrical connection may not be seated all the way.

Also, did you put your stock one back on? did that work fine?
