M7 AGS Owners

Where are all of the M7 AGS reports?
Where are your impressions?
Where are your "seat-of-the-pants" impressions?
Where are your BUTT-DYNO reports?

I hope you haven't let all of these DYNO-HEADS chase you away! Remember that this forum is for the free exchange of ideas.

I, for one, want to hear the impressions of people who have installed these intakes. I couldn't care less what the detractors say about Peter, M7 or the AGS. What I want to hear is what the owners say.

DON'T LET THE DYNO-HEADS RUN THIS FORUM!!!

Feel free to PM me with your email and I will happily converse with you outside of NAM about it.

I have it too. CustomAV and I both had it installed for the Dragon and many people have seen/heard it. It feels livelier at rpms over 4k and the sound is killer

I second that motion! especially the sound! it is oh so sweet.... and I am oh so goingto get a big fat ticket with the amount of pressure I put to the pedal every time just so I can hear it!

You will not believe the sound of the SC makes unless hearing the AGS. I've heard many other CAI and had the Alta prior the AGS. The throttle respond is night and day different and not to mention it actually quieter inside. It is a well designed product to help bring life thru-out the entire RPM.

Since you think it is funny then you must have an AGS installed and have a different opinion. If so please share it with us. Otherwise.....

edit: didn't mean t post twice, it never refreshed to show it went through, sorry

There is a lot of things funny with it................

Tests have shown a very slight difference in flow rates. So the statement about response is laughable. No slam intended, just restating what the test has shown.

Clearly that's what we need to begin to move on. And I wish I could oblige. But, any dyno work I ever do will be for my own benefit. That's not to say I'll hoard the results. But it seems unlikely that I'll do before & after pulls with the AGS as the only change.

I know that's what it takes to get something approaching good science. For me it's more a matter of convenience. I'll likely do a pulley and the AGS together with no dyno time in between.

There is one possibility for me...

Can someone who has done both a pulley and an AGS tell me whether it would add much to the effort to do the pulley install first, do some timed runs 60-80mph, do the AGS install, and then repeat the timed runs? If that's practical, maybe that will be my approach. But if it adds significantly to the work, prolly not.

Now, before we collectively hang our hopes on this... None of this can happen before June 26th when I plan to do the installs. And, I'm sure the world will stop turning if we don't get the darn numbers long before then.

Don't get me wrong. I sincerely hope some kind soul steps up to satisfy the craving for numbers. It would be great to finally clear things up. But, another part of me doesn't really care whether the naysayers are ever convinced. In fact, I've sort of grown fond of the sounds they make. I might miss it if they stopped.

We'll see. Time will tell.

Hey You Guys

Take that crap over to the other thread. I started this for the ones that want to brag about their AGS.

Can't you give us that. You're welcome to the other thread. It's all yours.

We don't want your input, here.

It's useless. You know I tried that with the "Who want's an AGS" thread and they piled on like flies on *****

Showed only a very slight difference?

BTW Scott, did you have a dyno chart and flow numbers before you bought that stellar CAI? Just wondering of the numbers matched the claims.

For my limited participation in that cat fight, I apologize.

I definitely want to hear how people like the AGS and what they like about it. More info on the install and drive experience would be great.

Thanks, eMINI

I can appreciate you some wanting numbers. Heck, I would like to see them, too. But in the end, this forum helps us lowly ones who do not live high on the WHP Mountain to make decisions about simple upgrades that would help the proformance of their vehicles.

Don't get me wrong. I love reading about Hubie and his 430whp toy, but in the end, most of us will never get to that point, nor do we really want to. Most of us drive, daily drivers and will never get to a track. But I'm glad that Hubie did what he did!

I, for one, am upgrading the intake, pulley, swaybar and exhaust. That's it. And all I want to do is to make the right decision on those items.

It seems like if I were to start a thread called BASH M7 HERE, there'd be about 4 or five people there. And more important, most likely, none of us "lowlanders" would care about that thread.

Regards,

I agree. Don't let actual testing results (or lack thereof) get in the way of your decision. Whether the AGS makes more power than other intakes, makes the same power, or even loses power compared to stock, what really matters is that customers are happy with their decision.

Andy,

My position is that you have nothing to add to this thread. You have no numbers to bash the AGS with. So take it somewhere else!!!
