Ba bye Andy...Ba bye NAM

Is it possible that you are lashing out at me because you are getting angry at the prospect that your emperor may have no clothes?

Hello...thick-headed Dyno-nerds

What do you not understand about "take it to the other thread". This is for those who want to brag about their AGS intakes.

Are you clueless? Don't you understand? Take it to the other thread. We don't want it here!

Earth to Dyno-Nerds.

The other thread is all yours.

No Andy. We're mad that you do not respect the title of this thread. You already had one thread going which you were doing a bang-up job of trashing. So when those of us who do not want to read your banter start another thread, you insist on coming here and spewing your banter here. That's because there wasn't anybody else on that thread to read what you wrote.

I, for one, don't care what you write and I respect your opinion even less. I just wish you would not insist on coming to a thread that was meant for AGS owners opinions and insist on forcing your opinion down the folks here that are reading this thread.

This is my last post until things change around here. I will be lurking and if I feel that I can contribute, I will PM the person directly. Shame, but I'm doing this under protest because this site has steadily become polluted with irrelevant, sophamoric smartass inputs. I don't know how long NAM's moderators will allow the same people to repeat their tired mantras about how this and that sucks but never have anything positive to contribute. In the mean time, people doing legitimate searchs end up with tons of crap that has nothing to do with their needs. The poor guys who started this thread to find more information from AGS owners ends up getting deluged by anti-AGS peoples who have no such experience to add. This thread is now useless as my last futile attempt to do the same with "who wants an AGS". Congratulation NAM for doing such a fine job. In the end, your experienced contributors will all be gone and you'll have the detractors to do all the talking

This whole thing sucks.
There's the "buy the AGS" because Peter says club. Then there's the "everybody's out to get Peter" club. Both of these views are crap.
No one (all right, maybe one or two) is out to get Peter. He did cause this with his initial claims and subsequent change of heart about posting numbers - which came from a "buy anything Peter puts out" apologist.
Something tells me if Peter just put out relevant (stress on relevant) data with his methodology for testing, this would all be moot. Sure there would be some questioning and there would be the typical doubters, but there would be nothing approaching this stupid level of acrimony.
Maybe Peter likes it this way. How else would he get this level of free advertising?

BTW, I don't belong to either club. I've purchased from Peter. I've spoken to Peter and he is a highly intelligent, motivated guy who loves the MINI. In my opinion though, he got this one all wrong.

All you need is:
We tested it. Here's the conditions we tested in. Here are the results. Take it for what it is.

Now can't we all just get along. Somebody post the damn numbers already.

Sorry for highjacking this thread. Back to regularly scheduled programming.

That's real productive. Maybe you should read the site guidelines before you start throwing comments like "moron" around.

Thread Locked

This whole area of discussion has totally devolved.

How about we all try to go out, get more fresh air into our systems, and clear our collective heads.

If someone has something meaningful and productive to add to the discussion, by all means you're able to discuss the topic. That said, there needs to be something new, because just rehashing the past isn't getting anyone anywhere.
