Drivetrain (Cooper S) MINI Cooper S (R53) intakes, exhausts, pulleys, headers, throttle bodies, and any other modifications to the Cooper S drivetrain.

Drivetrain Anyone know any news on the John Cooper Works upgrade?

Yeah, we did not talk about installation. She was probably only talking about how much it will cost. I will find out and reply back soon.

A rumor going around the MINI/BMW offices out on the East coast is that the JCW mods being considered are possibly going to be nixed for the US market due to potential warranty concerns. If JCW does go ahead with sales in the US it would be as a stand alone entity or through a distributorship possibly a well known Mini aftermarket supplier, but probably not through official MINI dealers.

I'm not sure how much weight to put in this info...but my source has not been wrong for me yet.
