Hey all,

So.... who has RC Eng. 440cc injectors installed? What is the deal with the fuel rail being pushed up so high? My intercooler barely clears the fuel rail now, and almost none of the bolts can be fully installed.

I called RC earlier today and they said there might need to be some machining done to either the intake manifold or the body of the injector. My injectors took a little bit to get in there, but they fit now (hah!). I had to get longer bolts to connect the fuel rail to the manifold. Suggestions?

 

so far I have machined several sets of Rc injectors, taking about .090" off the diameter to clear the cutout in the manifold. you also need to lift the fuel rail about 1/4" and the intercooler, via spacers under the brackets.

Raise the intercooler? How do you raise the cast endtanks on either end of the intercooler? As it is, I cannot get the leftmost (larger) bracket on the intercooler piping. I just drove it up the road and the car won't build any boost - leading me to believe that leaving the bracket off the endtank and trying to drive on it isn't the best idea RC could have left me with.....

Again.... Suggestions?

 

Our 400cc injectors fits perfectly, with no need for machining or moving
the intercooler....Just an idea
