It's almost cheap enough that it might be fun to buy and install, and then do a dyno, if you owned a shop or something.

Uhhh... I wouldn't be trying to out the guy, and wouldn't care that he'd be getting 30 bucks. I would be doing it merely for my own interest.

Not trying to bust on you, it's just that your statement demonstrates how some people make money. Make something cheap enough and people say, "What the heck". I've done it, too! I bought 'button bumps' for my miata for $3 - when the 'real things' were going for $15 or so. In the mail I got four $0.05 rubber bumpers. I'll bet he sold a lot of those...
