This thing is a joke right?

I've seen this item on Ebay over and over and figured I'd ask. Is this thing simply a joke? Also where the heck would such a thing install if there is something real to it?

Remember the saying...if it seems to good to be true, it probably is. Just or fun, we should contact the seller and ask for dyno results to doccument his claims.

I just wanted to ask to see how people reacted. Sorry to start some BS.

But come on it sure is funny isn't it?

It actually includes a REAL computer chip!! Just take a look on the inside of one of the modules. Ask the competitors to do that!

That's awesome. And where did these chips come from? Old 386s in the dumpster?

I have a feeling the chip is mounted for show and not soldered to anything. The only active component is likely a $0.0001 resistor that takes the place of your intake air temperature sensor to trick the car's computer into thinking it's freezing outside every day of the year. Kinda ghetto.

When I was a kid, a friend of mine showed me how to tie a wire to the governor of a riding lawnmower. When you pulled the wire it was like the mover when into "turbo" mode

This is a legitmate performance mod. Go back and re-read the ad carefully.

Based on my anaylsis, it will consistently produce gains of $24-33 for the seller.

Mu dumass upstairs 23 yr old trailer-trash neighbor put one on his base model mustang and RAVES about how much HP it added...he said it was so much better than getting an ECU, it really puts him back in the seat.

I tried to tell him what it really was, but he wouldn't have any of it. His 18 yr old hick unemployed HS drop-out GF just butted in and said 'it made it faster than a V8 now!'. I shook my head...went back to my bar-b-que...

There is an idiot out there to buy ANYTHING you can think of.

Ouch!
It's people like this, and the 'turbonator' folks that make vetting products a necessity!
