Pic request - Megan exhaust on car

I seemed to have looked through every exhaust thread but cannot find a pic of the Megan on the car. Specifically, I want to see want the tips really look like on the car and how they fill the opening.

Let's face it, the exhaust is about sound and looks. I really like the agressiveness of the DINAN tips but realize that it will have issues with one clean/one dirty exits.

One question for the Megan owners, does the entire inside of the tips get covered with carbon covering the inside chrome step (don't know what else to call it). Or do you experience the dreaded feature of the stock exhaust with a wide black downward stripe along the chrome. One of the main reasons I don't like the stock exhaust/tips.

Thanks in advance.

An unmodded MCS will always have a lot of carbon, to get rid of the carbon you have to lean out the A/F.

very true.

I was almost thinking that the Megan may look better if in fact it did get covered in soot leaving two nice big looking pipes. Maybe even a can of nice flat black high temp paint on the inside of the tips would do the trick. I know, heresey, painting chrome.

Thanks Dan.

I don't supose you have a sound file available. What do you compare it too? I have heard a Borla Street, Magnaflow, Alta and DINAN.

As you can probably tell, I cannot make up my mind. The Milltek looks and sounds great, at least on the web. So does the DINAN.

I think I am down to the DINAN, Megan, Milltek and the V2. Although, it is upsetting that the DINAN is not a cat-back and STILL costs $600.

I am kind of curious about the Invidia but I think the blue tips are just not for me and my red S.
