Looking for 05 Cooper S for Exhaust Hanger Design

I need 1 of 2 things. Good measuements of the location of the 05 rear exhaust hanger, or some one in northern NJ that will let me use their car for some measurements.

What will you get. I will let the person that can help me out get an 05 designed Exhaust at dealer cost. A great savings!

Send me an e-mail if you can help.

Tell me exact measing points you want and I will do it for you today.

Just tell me measure from here to here and I will do it.

I have an 05 and I have the megan exhaust on it, with a slight modifacation to the hangars near the box it is mounted on all 4 hangars.

I need 3 Measurements.

First is from the back side of the battery box to the center point of the hanger (lengthwise of the car)

Second is the distance from the battery box to the center of the hanger (width wise of the car)

Third is the distance from the underbody of the car to the center of the hole of the hanger. (vertical)

That should be plenty for me to locate it and fab a bracket. If you could snap some picture that would be great also.

Here are th emeasurements I got, it was a little hard to measure without lifting the car.

Back of battery box to center of mount = 3"

Battery box to hangar is roughly 1.5"

From underbody to center of mount there are 2 measurements, one from the bracket the mount is actually on .5" and from the actuall underbody next to the mount 1.5"

Here are a couple not so great pictures but I hope they help.

Let me know if you want me to check anything else for you or re measure or whatever.

Thanks This should help me Fab up the 05 Hangers. The nice part of this system is that the hangers will be interchangable. :-) 02-05 Exhaust System
