I have read in several threads, with NAMers talking about their aftermarket stuff they have on their MINI. Most of them with performance upgrades have the "large JCW Injectors", what's this? Also do these "injectors" come with the JCW Kit or do I have to buy them extra, and what are they used for?

BTW What do you think a 210hp JCW Kit with an M7 62mm throttle body would do for performance?

The '05 JCW kit includes bigger fuel injectors as well as the JCW air intake.

Prior to '05 the JCW kit did not have these items - but there is a "step up" kit that adds both to a JCW equipped MINI.

The original JCW kit was spec'ed at 200hp; the revised kit is spec'ed at 210hp.

 

Mikey, read up on TB's, the general consensus is that the TB should be one of the last mods to purchase from a performance point of view. They do add bling, and improved throttle response, but the HP add on is small relative to the cost. Congrats on 16, take a good high performance driving course, it will give you happiness for a lifetime.
