I was wondering if anyone out there knew the BMW serial number for a Cooper S gasket kit? I am not looking for the head gasket itself, but the assorted gaskets like shown in the link below:

Unfortuantely, main dealers over here are not very helpful when it comes to obtaining part numbers. Once I have a part number, I can then order the parts via the personnel department at work (BMW Logistics UK). I can get others within the business to look into this, but they are taking a long time getting back to me

I am hoping that there must be someone out there that has changed out their cylinder head and needed this gasket kit, and retained the part number as well.

Please help me out on this one if you can

11120147561 is the gasket kit, head bolts, o-rings, etc. It does not include the head gasket. Retail is $152.

11127508543 is the S head gasket you want, and it retails for $44.

Randy, I just had a friend suggest the 11127508544 which is a slightly thicker and reinforced head gasket. He said that it on a stock S would produce the following numbers 8,1:1. Is this possible?

NO....That part number is for if you had your cylinders bored out.

 

My list price on the kit is $200......thats cheap Randy.
