Throttlebody.. thoughts?

I am soliciting opinions on the Dinan TB. It is 59 mm Vs the stock 56... I am considering having it installed at the same time as the JCW kit. What gains should I expect? What about the Altek Tb that is 62mm?

Would you invest the $500?

If you are considering do more modifications besides the JCW, then obviously the warranty issue is not a big deal for you....Then why are you going to spend all that money on that kit (JCW) that barely makes any power???? Think about that! You can make the same amount of power as a JCW kit for about $1200 installed...

The throttle body can make a noticable differance if there are other performance items installed as well. Why the $500 price? The going rate these days from most Mfg. is 400 or less.

Just guesstimating cost... until the warranty on my new car (waiting on delivery), which is the one I am considering the TB for, I don't plan on doing any other mods... I want the warranty tho

I see. If you get a throttle body which has the cover re-atached with the proper clip you should have very little problem warrenty wise. The local dealer here passes them thru with no issues. There are several Mfg.s out there that do it properly. We just happen to be one of them. Here is a bit of info on ours for your review.
