F56S Helix Intercooler

What have members experienced with the Helix Intercooler for the F56S? I see a lot of Forge and Wagner users. I have installed Wagner intercoolers on my R56S and my R55S. My new to me 2017 F56S is in need of an intercooler. Any feedback on Helix would be helpful.

I installed one on my 2016 F56S. I jumped onboard on the original group buy. Fit and finish was stellar, installation went smoothly. Nothing to cut or mod. The only slight pain is removing the aluminum crossmember. Performance was great. I had already installed an intake and AWE touring exhaust(which is in my garage hanging up) and tune. IAT's were measured with a scanguage 2, they were between 10-12 degrees lower than stock. I have since traded up to a 2019 JCW and sold the intercooler.

Thanks for the response. When you say the aluminum cross member, is that the lower support that needs to be drilled and unbolted? I see in Helix's instructions they reference drilling out 2 rivets and unbolting 6 lower bolts for the lower support frame. Thanks.

Yes drilling out the 2 rivets. Helix provided new rivets and optional botls with nyloc nuts. I kept with the rivets.
