Which CAI?

I know this is another one of those questions that have been beat to death and I am sure it is more of a visual preference do to the fact that neither Intake will make that much of a difference in HP but which one do you prefer?

According to Randy Webb, the Alta makes the best hp. The Unifoam filter allows better flow and filters better than oiled cotton. That from an engineer from Eaton, Supercharger Division.

I agree, to date the Alta is the best. A very complete CIA.

Dang Alta hands down so far, I love the look of the BMP but I am open to either one especially if alta is better.

I have and love the Alta as well. The M7 AGS will be taking over the position soon though.

good luck!

I guess the big question is what are you looking for? I was going to buy the Alta model, but for me it was a little too loud. I chose the Dinan. It is quieter, and in my opinion looks like it was made for the car, vs. the Alta which looks like every other intake out there. Just my opinion, part of the fun is choosing!

Well more than anything I am looking for HP and it looks like the alta is the best but the most expensive, Can you use the factory hose seeing as how the alta does not come with one or at least you have to pay extra for it.

I have mine using the stock hose. The silicone hose is smoother inside with allows less restriction of air flow. Some users swear by it.

With BMP you can use Upper Stress Bar with no problem. There is not much gain for just CAI anyway. Alta CAI made of foam which give the best air flow on the market...right now..until AGS...

I hate a Smar*@&&! Look at the post dates of mine and M7 EINSTEIN and you will see I posted before they announced the AGS at which I will gladly wait a couple more weeks for now
