Check Engine Light

2011 Countryman SAll4

So frustrating. Got my car back a week ago. CEL has been intermittent.

New Oil solenoid
New oil pan gasket
New valve cover and gasket
New water pump pulley
New serpentine belt
New Turbo line feed

CEL is on.

New front cam position sensor (waiting on the other one)
Cleaned vanos (both, waiting on new ones)
Cleaned MAF(just because I was there)

CEL turned off and had amazing power after the cleaned vanos. It lasted half a day.

Code that its giving is P054B and once in a while its P0015(vanos).

I'm feeling pissy now.

I have no idea, but you might have better luck in the second or third gen forums (im not sure which one the countryman is) this is the first gen forum. Good luck, it can be frustrating at times.

Thank you! Its first Gen.

It was my timing chain. 🤦‍♀️ Something the tech missed on the first visit. I had the main guy come pick up my car and put it on the trailer. Threw a crap ton of codes after the new Vanos and new cam position sensors. My timing was 4+° off.... glad I didn't drive it anymore..

2011 isn’t a first gen...

Probably referring to the countryman itself as a first gen maybe and not the engine.
