AEM Water Meth Injection N18

Hello guys !
I am going to install AEM W/Meth injection Kit on My 2013 MCS. I have already done : a Catless Downpipe, Muffler delete, ebay Intercooler, 1 Step colder NGK plugs, Blow off plate, AEM ram intake and Noise maker & resonator delete.
I live In Tbilisi, Georgia(country, Not In the USA) So we do not get many MCS tuners Here, and the Fuel Quality is not the best also, it's near to OKEY.
So here are my Questions :
1. Is it possible to tune Stock N18 Ecu to work with AEM W/Meth injection without any issues ?
2. How much of a Gain should I get with 50/50 mix ?
3. Will I be able to run Without meth after the tune ?
4. has anyone done it on this forum yet ?

REGARDS,
BEKA.

With any methanol injection system, you will not gain any noticeable power by just installing the system. You have to tune for the increase in octane. Running methanol without a tune is more of a "peace of mind" modification by making you less likely to have detonation.

Thanks For your answer,
But, I have NOT Said that I'm not going to tune it.
I'm talking about gains after the tune.

I am currently running Manic stage 2 and very similar mods to your set up with the AEM kit on a 2013 MCS. I have the 250cc nozzle injecting into the charge pipe starting at 5 psi and hitting max injection at 21 psi. On map C I can reliably pull 21.5 psi. I use VP M1 methanol mixed with distilled water and usually go with 50/50 by weight. I’ve used 100% meth, 60/40 and straight water and all have performed about the same. It does reliably cool the intake charge and prevent timing from being retarded. I’m in the process of adding direct injection to the intake runners to ensure that the methanol is equally distributed between the cylinders.

If you go with the AEM kit, I would recommend jumping the tank level sensor so that it always reads as full. I’ve had issues with the sensor falsely reading a low tank and cutting injection during long pulls. Also, going by AEMs nozzle chart, our cars should use the 500cc nozzle. I found 500cc to be way too much and just a waste.

I can’t comment on how much of a gain you will see because I have not put my car on a dyno0. What I can tell you is there is a very noticeable difference. When you really get into the throttle, the IAT will drop below ambient temperature by 10 to 15 degrees. When you are into the throttle a lot for sustained periods of time, this makes a difference. Even on a hot day, the car just goes.

Did You Get a Special retune after installing W/Meth injection ?

Can You Run On empty W/Meth tank "safely" for couple of wot runs ?

Best Wishes!
BEKA

When I had mine tuned my tuner advised me to only use map C with WMI. I have an SPS switch to change performance maps so I just switch to map B if I’m not running meth. The SPS really comes in handy.

I’m hoping to get the direct port set up finished next weekend, I’ll let you know how it goes!

unfortunately Manic Tune is not available In my country :( I think I'll just go with Normal ECU tuner with some Good Recommendations.
Thank You For all Your Answers !

Looking Forward For Direct Port setup Pics.

As far as WMI Nozzle location, does anyone know of anyone that makes a spacer for the N18 for an easier install?
