Invidia Exhaust for MCS (56k warning)

I just bought a new Invidia Exhaust for my MINI cooper S from ebay or you can write email directly to revtuners@charter.net. The exhaust came very well packed and the welding is top of the line! You can use this exhaust as an art piece on you wall as well! Top quality materials and superb craftsmanship..that's all I can say!

I have been looking around for 4 months. Some exhaust you can see the mufflers hang under the car real low...I can't stand that :P. They claim 10HP gains.. :D .Top of my list is Skunk2 and Invidia which are pretty close, but Invidia has a unique Titanium Tips which I think they are cool! I will try to get them on my car ASAP and will also post some sound clips as well.

those tips can't be titanium as they are welded to stainless steel...just torch burnished stainless made to look like ti. nice otherwise though

thank you!....I don't know how real is the Titanium but the tips are attached to the pipe using rivets...not welded.

beautiful! Now THAT's what you call an exhaust. Can't beat J-quality when it comes to welding and overall craftsmanship on an exhaust.

when I got my Milltek I was like $900 for this crap?!
well, at least it sounds good and had some gains.

Hope you're getting some good gains and tone on that exhaust.

Good looking system and a very interesting location for the " mufflers " when compared to the other systems out there. What is the approx cost and deleivery time?

$599.99 + $49.99 shipping

There was a guy in MINI2 has Shunk2 which has the same basic design and he said the sound was not that much lounder than stock!!! I don't know how true, but I will soon find out and post the sound for you all to enjoy.

Looks good!

I'm curious how it will sound, as well as power improvements. Construction looks first-rate. Keep us informed!

Well you could always hang it up on your livingroom wall like functional art.

I would guess than the sound might be a tad on the louder side. Gains in the 5+ HP range or more. Hard to say unless you check. Hope it doesn't drone.
Great finish and looks nice with a great price. The hangers come ready for which year MINI? 05 or pre-05??

MyPocketRocket,
Give us a follow up and sound clip so it can be added to the exhaust sticky for the MCS, and thanks for posting pictures.

This is a picture that I found it on the web. This is not my car, but to give you all some idea how it would fit.

One thing though... will they be producing a racing header and cat?

A question that needs to be answered for the guys who want to prep their cars for the track.

we need to hear that exhaust.... do a gear change fly-by and all the rest.

btw the worksmanship is even better than the UUC exhaust:smile:

I heard the hanger goes sideways on the 04's+. The one you
show on your pict will fit a 2003 as the hangers are going front/back.

I know of a few folks that didn't use the inner hangers at all. None have reported any problems. I wouldn't worry too much about it..

Amazing...the look...the sound...and the power!!!

First, this exhaust has the old hanger for 03 down...sorry for wrong information. I did not aware of that from the first place. I need to contact the seller to see what he could do, but I might take the car exhaust place to get it fixed some how because I'm so in love with this exhaust! I did a temporary fix with zip-tie, but actually the exhaust can be installed without using the inside hangers at all.

Everything fits perfect! All the hardwares needed are included. The quality is top of the top! The look from behind is a killer! with the muffler shoot in an angle both side..looks really aggressive.

Sound!...I will post sound clips later..hopefully today (need to find a good spot to make some noise). The sound is deep and low Highway sound is almost silence...unless you step on gas and you know that power is coming!

Power!...I don't have Dyno to prove and may not have it until I get the pulley installed, but from what I have BMP CAI and everything stock...the car has better low-end respond and much more top-end...right after 3000RPM the car pulled quickly to redline.

Congrats! looks fantastic. The tips look like it *might* have
enough clearance for the aero bumper with factory hangers too.

Would you please take another shot from the top of the rear bumper?
I want to see how far that cool blue color on the tips show. It's not
length adjustable like the Milltek, is it? (I don't see a slip fit on the
mid pipe).

man... now Im jealous.

not to sound piccy, but you need more light and angles to do that exhaust justice.

you need to spreed the mufflers apart a bit more... too close together.

now where is that sound clip
