Manic Stage 1 map C boost

Last summer I had Manic Stage 1 installed in my 2013, N18 manual trans. All seemed fine running around in map "B" with boost peaking around 20-21. Later, after aquiring an SPS switch, I tried out map "C". Car now is peaking around 24psi and has a dramatic power drop during hard acceleration, (usually while in first or second gear). Could I be running stage 2 instead and could this power drop be associated with the DV? Reason I had to ask is that the installer really was pushing me to get stage 2. Mods include high flow cat, Forge style fmic, BMW 767 DV, Alta intercooler inlet pipe and Borla catback street exhaust. Been using Costco top tier 93 octane and P3 OBDII Multi-gauge if that matters.
Thanks

I run my Manic stage 2 on Map B, and I can't get traction in first or second gear. Is it possible you are getting traction control interference on map C? What spark plugs are you running?

You won't gain much more going to stage 2, other than cooler engine temps and no CEL from going cat-less. You might pick up a few more powers, but not a lot.

I’m running the 1422 colder plugs and switching off the traction control yields the same drastic power drop. What is your peak boost for those of you running stage 2, map C?

I don’t recommend map C on a stage 1 car. Seem like you are overboosting. Maybe the wastegate is too tight or the diverter valve isn’t bleeding off. The stock S turbo is out of its efficiency zone around 20psi.

Thanks, I’ll switch back to Map B for now to stay in a safer boost zone. Mario, is there a known issue using stage 1, map C?
