Drivetrain catch can catch
just to set the record straight, I bought the e-bay can (as mentioned in the leading post, got it delivered for $40 total, it came with all the hoses and clamps and was the right size...no cutting needed. I went a tiny bit further by adding a stainless steel scrubby and an internal tube to conduct the incoming funk to the bottom.
DIY Catch Can
Here's my version, I call it, R2D2 revision1
By the way there is a whole scuncie metal pot scrubber in the cap, a drain tube down the center of course and a dip stick rather than leaky tube's. It is held in place on a simple L bracket with two velcro strips for easy clean out removal.
Nonpatent pending of course.
