I have just put on Randy's TB and I'm curious about how much HP/ft.lbs my car is making. Anyone have a guess. 02 MCS, Borla street, Dinan intake, 15%, Unichip, TB.

I am going to add a Miltek header in Dec just for S#@ts and giggles.

my guess is your results will have too many undefined variables to be of general use, but will give you a baseline, should you ever be able to duplicate conditions and re-measure.

 

Please do a run with the Unichip in place, then disconnect it completely and do another run. The only such results I have seen were from paulmon's car, and they were less than encouraging.

 

Spider, if possible, find out your air/fuel ratio (the dyno should be able to plot a graph) and how much timing your tune is running. All of this would be very helpful and educational.

 

With the larger throttle body, I've heard that you gain power at the very higher rpm's and lose power at the lower to mid rpm's. However, with all the other mods you have, the loss of power at low to mid rpm's should not really be a concern. Haven't seen any dyno's though. :smile:
