Going JCW turbo on my S. (Install kit?)
So I have purchased a used JCW turbo for my R55 S. Wanted that little bit of extra power especially up top where my boost falls from 20-21 to 17-18.
There seems to be different variations of "install kits" all across different sites. Which one do you go with? Right now im looking at the Detroit Tuned full kit. $194 and adding the Manifold to turbo gasket to it. Other sites like WMW have the exhaust mani gasket and all new studs and bolts for the block and DP.... Idk what to go with. I don't want to spend too much on what I may not need.

This is the factory recommended turbo installation kit:

I would want to have at least these parts on hand for the swap. Maybe add the turbo studs and downpipe lower clamp, too. It would suck to get almost there, and not be able to finish because you needed and additional nut, stud, or gasket.

We've only ever done our super kit with turbo replacement with the addition of the turbo gasket between the manifold and turbo.
The exhaust manifold gasket is a multi layer gasket that MINI recommends be changed, but there is no definitive reasoning as to doing so.
We also stock the coolant line crush washers, and in my opinion those are a higher replacement priority than the exhaust gasket.
