Drivetrain JCW catback, resonator delete or swap it all out
JCW catback, resonator delete or swap it all out
Any performance to be gained above the JCW catback? It's too quite and I've heard deleting the resonator will wake it up.
But, if I can get more performance I'll just swap it out I already have another catback with quite a bit larger pipe/outlets
is there really any HP to gain over the JCW setup? This car is ONLY used for autocross & HPDE I do not drive it on the street except to get to the event.

so there is no hp to gain from a catback? I ONLY race this car and competition is very tight, an extra 3-4 hp will make a difference when we are 2/10ths of a second between first and second place
I had the resonator deleted yesterday and it is still way too quiet but if I'm not gonna gain any HP I'm gonna leave it till next year

ugh just looked it up, I was 2nd place last autocross on sunday, I took first on satuday, I missed first place by .282 seconds
by pax I was 16th out of 68 cars on saturday and 13th out of 60 cars sunday running in d-street

The only way to know for sure would be to do before and after dyno's and be ready to put out back if needed.
Back pressure is a fickle thing and it will have different results on different cars.
