Hello everyone. So I have some credit at my local MINI dealer and I'm trying to figure it how to spend it....I know tough job! Ha!
Anyways, I was thinking about the JCW pedal set. I was wondering if anyone has upgraded to this and if there's anything tricky with switching out the accelerator. Any coding needed after this?

I's super easy. I did it on my 2012 Countryman and just did it on my new F56. At the bottom of the accelerator pedal is a small plastic cap. Pry it off, and there is an Allen screw underneath. Remove the screw and push up on the pedal to unhook it. There is a small electrical connector underneath. Disconnect the old pedal, connect the new one, hook it back on and replace the screw. Takes all of five minutes. The brake and clutch pedal covers just pull off and push on. To swap the dead pedal, pry out the old one with a small screwdriver and snap the new one in. Super easy to do, but the stainless pedals make a huge difference.

Yea, its pretty much plug and play , just slid on the new pedal covers, dead pedal insert ( out one out from the bottom ), and that accelerator pedal hook up.
Had them in two out of three MINI's I've owned and found I prefer the standard rubber pedals more. Living in Michigan I found sometimes those metal pedals get slick when wet from rain or snow.
