You'd get the same effect by fabricating an aluminum box around the ECU... Sure it might help if you live next to an FBI RF jamming facility, but otherwise, I'm not sure it'll help with much.

Interesting...that's like those elctromagnetic bracelets that Golfers wear...but for the car.

I wonder what does Andy and Trippy have to say about it :P

I'm all in favor of it, and it looks like good cake, but wouldn't it work better if it also used copper bracelets to combat disease?

I wonder what would happen if you used it with a Plasma Booster.
Does anyone know if they are compatible, gosh it might even double the power.
What does the sticker for this product look like anyway?
Hold up.......alarms going off everywhere

And here I thought the Plasma Booster was the answer to all my dreams! Think what both these products would do for my Mini...

Shakti-Innovations has been around the Audiophile circle for a long time and is very well respected.I have heard the effects that their stones produce on good HiFi equipment and they do have an audilble effect (for the good).

lead baby!!!

I'm one of those old school audiophiles who believed it was a sin to own a car that cost more than your sound system.
-I wrap or protect everything: 200lbs of lead surround my mono block amps. Layers of sorbathane pad my tube CD player(D/A converter.) 4 "thick cast glass slab is under my CD transport. Little lifts elevate my Cardas speaker cables off the floor. Machined billet feet iosolate my preamp and the motor for my turntable is in a seperate housing w/o mechanical contact with the table. I even spent $$$$ once on a 1 meter balanced interconnect (which I still have as a reminder of my worst habits.)
-HOWEVER: I have never thought of protecting my ECU from spurious RFs or any other of the thousands of potentially harmfull elements that could cause my poor Cooper to loose a 1/10th in a street race w/ an E46 (or worse.) I think we may be on to something!
-Actually I may try using the 200lb sheets of lead to cradel my ECU. This might give me the "edge" I was searching for.
-Just kidding. It's kind of fun to try new things (as long as they are cheaper than my cables.)
PS. I never street race, just a wise crack.

My MCS still exceeds my Spectral, Quad, Entec, Basis & Graham gear as audiogon keeps purchase price down- good to see some audiophiles loving their MINIs.
While back while Eric at Helix did his Hawaii pulley party for a dozen of us MCS owners we got talking about Espresso and roasting coffee- only to find out quite a few other besides me have spent $$$$ on commercial espresso and drum roasters- Similar discussion with cigars as we pass around some real cuban montecristo, etc. Oh the good life. Aloha folks.

Now all you need is one of those sheet metal Tornado inserts for the throttle body and I bet you are up to 205 easy!
