cam timing you have to rip off the crank pully which is not fun and the oil pump / cover behind it to see what is really going on there not fun but doable i have done this the timing chain is not supposed to move but can although this would not turn on the dsc light. if you need to check the timeing for sure email me and i can tell you how to go about this otherwise i dont think the dsc has anything at all to do with this. the cam is accualy difficult to screw up what steps were taken durring the install?

as far as dsc how old is the car and have you ever hit anything. the dsc is very sensitive to a lot of variables.

I've had a bad accident where I was side swiped by a tire wall...that could still have something to do with it, but this light only came on after the head and cam install. The car was also sitting there for like 3 weeks without a head, just waiting...I'm sure the wait had something to do with it.

Thanks,

L
