Installed my Pilo Intake

This is my first performance mod. Yippee!

The Pilo sounds great and improves throttle response. You can tell the engine is hungrier.

Here's a pic:

Did you do the cowl mod? Does yours press against the bonnet? Do you have a sound clip?

Looks good, countrym. I don't think mine came with that Pilo decal
on the side... (not that it matters.hehe). I too did not cut out the crowl
wall behind the cone.

No, no, and no. I might do the cowl mod eventually. I'm a one-thing-at-a-time guy. The fit is perfect, no rubbing. And I'm too low tech for sound clip action. Sorry!

No worries. I have one too and I'm just getting anxious to get it installed on the car.

I predict you'll like it immensely. It adds a nice harmony to the supercharger's melody.

One piece of advice: tilt the shield back and to the left and hook on the battery connector before you put the shield in place. The battery cable isn't long enough to hook it over the receiver after everything's screwed in place.

countrym - mind taking a few more pics? I was almost ready to buy the alta one but when I saw yours, it looks pretty good... especially since it's cheaper than the alta, right? thanks.

aww, shucks, I thought my battery cable was just too short. I have it
mounted with 3M mounting tape onto the metal bracket.

Learning something new every day...

Thanks for the tip! I'm thinking of buying the $39 cowl mod from MiniMania (I think it is) so I can swap back and forth if necessary.

The Pilo intake was my first mod too.....which led to a Pilo ignition system.....
which led to a B&M short shifter.....which led to a Helix 15% pulley.....which led to an M7 device.....which led to non run-flat tires.....which led to Greenstuff break pads.....which led to an adjustable rear sway bar.....just to mention the performance mods. Hope you enjoy!
