Cooling system upgrade

Happy holidays guys! My 05 MCS has 70K miles. Any advise when it will need a cooling system refresh ? Car has always been in southern California
Will the water pump, t-stat, expansion tank, and radiator will hold it till 100k ? Thanks

Unless it's broke don't fix it.

Now with that said Thermostat gaskets on 05-06 are really common to leak and the new ones are actually an updated version. So if it hasn't been done it eventually will.

Same with the plastic Coolant tanks. They are very common to leak at the seam and cause the tank to pop. Replace with one of our aluminum tanks and prevent it from happening.

Way, Thanks for chiming in. Since there is too much labor involved to get there, I thought I will refresh all major cooling components to save time. Do you have a kit instead of individual parts?

The thing that will almost certainly fail is the engine cooling fan and/or low speed fan resistor, but being in Socal its not subject to salt so may take a bit longer. The first you will know, is that your air con will start to play up. You will then be in an a/c and engine cooling death spiral.

Low speed resister already failed. I m running the external resister patch
Lucky the a/c didn't give up on me yet

With the age and miles on the car, Cooling system is what I am more worried about. Don't want to do a head gasket job
