Drivetrain Big Bore Clutch Master Cylinder?
Big Bore Clutch Master Cylinder?
Hey all,
I've been looking for something like this, for my MINI: http://iapdirect.com/omni-power-hond...FVJhfgodPGEAQw
I had that on my old Honda, and it was one of the best mods I have ever done. It reduced the throw of my clutch pedal to ~2", making clutch modulation a breeze.
I was wondering if there was a similar product made for BMW/MINI vehicles, or maybe a OEM master cylinder with a bigger bore that would bolt up? Been looking for quite a bit.
Based on my own research, the Clutch Master Cylinder out of a BMW m3/m5 may fit, and it is a larger bore:
Here is the r53 CMC: http://www.waymotorworks.com/clutch-...-cylinder.html
And an M5 CMC: http://www.ecstuning.com/BMW-E39-M5-...tch/ES2582073/
I just miss the feel of my old clutch pedal, haha.
Thanks,
Matt

Only non OEM mod I have heard is using a s10's metal one in place of a plastic mini unit...a few minor mods are done to make it work...http://www.greeneperformance.com Think Colin greene, the guy who sells the vibrotecs engine mounts in the us makes/sells then....http://www.greeneperformance.com/col...e-cylinder-kit
