Drivetrain Wires and coil pack 0-60 times
Thanks for all your help. I torqued the plugs to 24 lbs and it seems to be starting easier yet the connector on the back of the coil pack is still just sitting on there. I know how to get the red clip out but I can't seem to figure out how to get it to lock back in. Any advice?
With the tab OUT
put the connector back onto the coil pack. Press it down as far as it will go. Then press the orange tab back into the locked position. To be honest, I don't know if the plug will go on with the tab in the locked position or not. I never tried! In will "click" back into place, but shouldn't take a lot of force. If you find that you're pushing harder than you think you should, try pushing the connector a bit farther or pulling it out about a 1/16th of an inch and try the tab again. What's too hard? When it brakes!

it seems like the clip won't slide all the way in...any ideas??
It's not on far enough for sure...
but it looks like the tab is either out fine, or could use a bit more removal! Take the stock coil and the connector on and off that one. When you're happy with the motion there, you can then work on the new coil pack. I've found that sometimes the dimensions on cloned parts aren't perfect. It may just be tighter.
But it's a good rule of thumb to go back to what worked, get everything straightened out, then go forward again.
