Is a Dremel good enough to make the cut in the crashbar to get the IC to sit properly?

No - the crashbar is hardened steel, even with an angle grinder it took a while. Of course I was working slowly and doing a lot of test fits in order to remove as little as possible.

You'd be at it for a long time with a dremel. The good news is you can get a basic angle grinder on Amazon for $29.99

I installed mine on a 2012 cooper s and I didn't have to trim anything. It was a direct fit. I didn't even have to take the crash bar off to install it.

I wasn't looking to make extra work - it's what I had to do to fit the Wagner. See the pics from my install in the earlier post, no way it would fit without removing and modifying the crashbar. I think that some of the early 2012 model year cars didn't have the same lower crashbar as mine.

No I totally believe you. Even the main crash bar on my car was different from the one in the instructions wagner supplied. I also don't have the lower crash bar thankfully. Glad you got it to work though. I'm also glad I didn't have to do all of that lol.

Do Wagner has one that fits gp2 bolt on? I really do not want to start shaving the car.

I didn't shave my Wagner Comp intercooler. And I bought it from ECS Tuning. Push it upwards a bit and the crashbar fits nice and tight. No damage to either when reinstalling everything.
