I wasn't looking to make extra work - it's what I had to do to fit the Wagner. See the pics from my install in the earlier post, no way it would fit without removing and modifying the crashbar. I think that some of the early 2012 model year cars didn't have the same lower crashbar as mine.

I didn't shave my Wagner Comp intercooler. And I bought it from ECS Tuning. Push it upwards a bit and the crashbar fits nice and tight. No damage to either when reinstalling everything.
