Had my MCS dyno'd today and didn't know the answer to what value to use from EPA for wind resistance at 50 mph so used 9.0 (0.5 less than a civic). What is the correct value on this exponential curve for a proper power curve?

Also, for vehicle weight I used the curb weight (2650 lbs) plus th e weight of myself and a full tank of gas (13 * 8 ~= 104lbs)? Is this a good approach?

Thanks

I'm not sure if the values would be different for the various types of dynos there are but you can ask Eric Savage at Helix13.com or Randy Webb at Webbmotorsports.com for the numbers or best guess.

Dynos are not always reliable numbers because you are really just simulating the real power a car may have. There are so many parameters to account for you may not always be as accurate. If you make slight changes in the setting you mentioned and others you may get results you had not intended for either accurate or inaccurate.

It's not like getting a ruller and measuring.
